Have you heard of the term Occam’s Razor? I first heard of this term when reading the book ” One Minute Millionaire” by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen. According to “One Minute Millionaire” the term Occam’s Razor was first put forth by a 14th century scientist and named after him. The Occam’s Razor states that “The Best solution to a problem, is almost always the Simplest Solution!”

What would you feel when a friend of your over a cup of coffee told you that he is interested in u building an internet marketing business by writing a program for Forum on his site.? This morning (rather yesterday morning, it passed midnight at time of writing), I was having coffee with a friend and the topic move to Internet Marketing. I have high respect for this friend of mine whom I know him for over 15 years. He is an example of when you have a will, you will find a way. He is not English educated but able to complete his first degree in computer programming with a British University on part time study while running his computer retail shop.

Our talk was on center around business, computer and internet, he suddenly told me that he did not understand how his friend’s wife can make a couple of hundred dollars a month with a blog. While he wrote very special program and cannot find user except for one customer. I have told him before that some people are able to make some decent income with a blog and website but he did not believe it. Now that he had asked, I explained to him the mechanic of it again.

My friend then throw a surprise to me that he is working on an project and intend to write a program for Forum. I was literally stunned by his word. For a moment, I was like someone had punch me on my stomach, but it was an AHA moment for me. The Occam’s razor came into my mind. To cut the story short, I told him to log into his hosting account cpanel, look for fantatisco and create a forum from there. But I can see he was blur basing on the questions that he raised. It was more AHA moment for me.

How often we were blind by the lightning flash of the obvious that we did not see a simple solution to our problem. We were so engross on the daily activities and tend to forget certain thing can be as simple drinking a cup of coffee. So if you have came across any problem, just remember “Occam’s razor” the solution may just be in front of you. All you need to do is ask.
