Hello SK.
Thank you for referencing my blog. I really appreciate it. Your posting really had me thinking about how much importance we place on other people’s perception about ourselves.

To be really honest though, I was laughing a bit because I tried to envision myself in the same situation/scenario. In all honesty, I probably would have just tried to ignore the pigeon too.

Hi Carol,

That’s why I think, in the story, the psychiatrist did not dare to voice out that there is a pigeon in the hall.

Personally, I think they must have a way to diffuse it. otherwise, who really can take in some much negative things. That’s come my second part of the post.

It must be really difficult to be a therapist whether psychiatrist or psychologist…listening and dealing with ills of the mind has to rub off…..How does one go home not depressed from hearing all the stuff..??? Good question. I know depression is an illness…I hope someday there will be ways of curing besides harmful drugs…carol stanley author of FOr Kids 59.99 & Over.
