Two Frogs fell into a dry well and saw many skeletons there, non the less being trap inside a well is not joking matter and they knew pretty well that if they don’t get out of the well, they would be like those frogs skeletons sooner or later. So they started to jump, for each step upward, they slipped back by more than half of the jump. It looks like the top is as high as the sky.
Soon after, some frogs heard that their fellow frogs fell into the well and start gathering around the well and shouting. It was very loud, noisy and a little disturbing, not like the normal way of cheering their friends. One of the frog soon get very tired, jump back to the bottom and gave up. The other persist, he thought to itself, since there are so many of my friends cheering me up, I must persist and get out of this well.
So this frog keep on jumping and eventually he got out of the well. When it gotten out, he was told that he was the only frog that ever got out the well.
“But I thought all of you are cheering me up?” The frog said.
“No, we all told you not to waste your time, as no one ever got out of this well.” All the other frogs replied.
“Luckily, I am a little deaf and thought all of you are cheering me up to get out of the well.” Said the now relive frog.
Isn’t it life is like that, every time some one set a goal especially a higher goal that make his peer uncomfortable, there are always some well wishes trying to de-motivate him or her using the pretext of caring and sharing?
Think About It?
