I always received this question either from  friends or some one who wanted to make extra income; asking how much I earned from my Online Business Opportunity that I am working on and some other business venture or investment  that we are involved, and some wanted me to show proof of the earning. My reply was not much as usual. And today, I received the same question from a gentleman on an opportunity I advertised and wanted me to show the proof.

It remind me about 10 years ago when I joined a network marketing business, every one started from the lowest level if you ever involved in Network Marketing or MLM. A lot of the people we approached wanted us to Show Proof on how much we earn before they are willing to join us. Being new, we have nothing to show except the passion to build the business in good faith, sincerity and a dream to achieve. We have more rejection than getting people interested but the handful of people who are interested, with the same mindset and belief, our network represent more than half of the members in our state. More interestingly, we were labeled as LUCKY by those people who wanted us to show proof but never joined.

Most people do not realize when when someone presented a business opportunity to them, it is there duty to do their own due diligent and make their own judgment to see whether the opportunity is right fit for them. It dose not means that If I can earn four or five figures income from an opportunity,  they will too. There are a lot of factors involved. One of which may be the business is a different cup of tea to them. More so a different size of Cup. read my post on Half Full or Half Empty.

To those people who are skeptical; their cup is always half empty as they always see the empty side of the cup. They will always see the risk first instead of the opportunity. They will analyze what would be the consequences if they fail and more importantly what other will think of them when they fail. The risk will always out weighted the benefits of the opportunity because they can never convince that they can succeed either they had fail before or they never try before. They are being paralyze by over analyze.

Opportunity favour those who acted on it; the road to success  is never smooth and easy but most people are haunted by The Phantoms of Perhaps and to those  who has the courage to take up the challenge despite many failures, who keep on changing their cup to find one that fit them. These same people also keep changing to a bigger cup to expand their capacity for they understand that we can only gorw to the extend of our mind.

So the next time, when you are presented with an opportunity, see the water first instead of seeing the aif above the water and ask yourself, How Can I make use of the water inside to change it to fill a bigger cup?
